I purchased some Chatterbox systems and we are checking them out. I intalled the HJC 27A CB abd traveled with some road bikes for the weekend. At 75 with a crosswind in the rain I could understand and talk with them. My Golwing system I would rate as a 10 and this as a 7. At 65 with no crosswind and no rain it was great. Under 50 it was superb. I added the option of the Remote handlebar control which gives you volume , squelch, channel selection and push to talk. Withhis you mount the original PTT control for the pasenger to use & this gives you an intercom when the mike is keyed. You can have a great conversation although it is broadcast to others. This did not bother us. We will be mounting up and testing the HJC-FRS next which has a private intercom. Let me know if this helps or if you want some prices. We bought quite a few for a group and have som extras.
