A lot of us are looking for a street-legal ride the size of the XT225 with
the power of the KLR650. When I was a kid there was a guy at the local
Triumph shop in Baltimore (Boutwell's, 229 S. Broadway) who had shoehorned a
T100 twin into a Cub frame. Aside from the stock Cub brakes being woefully
lame, the little bugger weighed about 250 lbs, I could get my feet flat on
the ground with my ass an inch or two off the seat, and if it didn't have the
clearance to hop over a log, well, I could carry it on my shoulders. It was
street legal and the brakes would be easy to fix.
