maybe it's all that WD40 you use? hahahahahahahahaha. but seriously. i get my bike to slide a little all the time. after a few days of dirt play (and 10 years of expert-class mountain bike racing) it doesn't bother me any more. i go pretty easy on the front brake at low speeds since front wheel slides are more instantaneously bad than rear, plus the brake dive seems to unsettle the balance alot at parking lot speeds. mw> Ralph, even a small amount of gravel on pavement can send you > down if the > bike goes into it anything but perpendicular to the ground. > They lay tons of > the stuff on the roads here in Colorado every Winter and > Spring.
