About 1 1/8" to be exact. The double-female slip on sprinkler fittings work great. Ya know the kind that fit over 3/4" sprinkler pipe, they are about 1 7/8" long and I like the way my bike handles. Do they even have Home Depot in Brooklyn? CA Stu.
