Hello again listers, I just completed my much anticipated first valve check (it was delayed a few days due to bad weather). Luckily I didn't need to contact the list with any questions. The clearances were all within specs, but all on the tight side. The gaps were as follows: Left Intake: .004 Right Intake: .005 Left Exhaust: .006 (a tight .006) Right Exhaust: .007 My question is: should I wait until 3,000 miles to replace them, or should I replace them before then? The check wasn't too difficult. I just hope the actual shim replacement isn't much harder. Thanks for the info, Raamses Roanoke, VA A14 "Lusus" (550 miles) http://www2.50megs.com/raamses/klrpage.htm
