fork spring spacer od

Can someone please tell me the OD of the fork spacer that goes on top of the
fork spring? I plan to stop at Home Depot on the way home tonight and buy
some 2" pieces of pvc to replace the spacers I made.. I cut them too long
and am wondering if this increased preload in the forks is contributing to
the negative change in handling I am experiencing.
