yes, but you'll need to loosen the boots on both ends of the carb and remove the throttle cables, then you rotate the carb clockwise 45 degrees but do this only after fully disconnecting the cable at the handlebar. your best online parts source is fred at moabmc@... . [dsn_klr650] choke cable
it has a fairly fragile plastic fitting that screws into the side of the carbie...I think it takes a 14mm...if you try do do it w/o removing it from the handlebar and creating slack you will bung it up or crack it...FWIW it isn't a choke as we know it...it is a fuel enrichment circuit as you'll see when you get at it... I found the CO2 cartridges to have no useful capacity. I carry a little bike pump - roughly 11 strokes per lb. for the rear, 8-9 strokes for the front. Stuart I just tried that, used the one for my mt. bike, and your correct sir...now I have to fing a place to strap it on...whats one more thing...?!?> I was wondering what the S.O.P. was for filling your tires back up after >dirt riding? Do those little CO2 cartridges supply enough pressure or are >they just kind of an emergency thing?
