Thank you all for your responses. I figured the KLR to be the TRUE ALL PURPOSE BIKE I was looking for and am convinced of that. It is nice to hear from others to reassure my own convictions. In my lack of experience and expertice I began to doubt my choice. Glad to be an owner...now just gotta get more experience. Thanks Dust A14 Man with Big Grin
