I have a Craftsman, 1/2 inch drive, 6 point, 27mm socket that I purchased at
the local Sears about a year ago. If you absolutely cannot get a 27mm then a
1-1/16" socket is within 0.04" of being 27mm.

Try a 1 1/16" or 1 1/8" socket. I forget which. One of these will work.

I had top get a dealer to use an impact wrench to break mine loose. No
problem with the stocker FALLING off! I got a 1 1/16" to fit. Those are
easier to find.

Research and design for Ca. Highway Patrol? So top secret they can't test it
in the California market. I heard it was a joint project by Mike
Corbin/NASA and Andy Goldfine and will be sold under the Unobtainium
trademark.
