May I suggest something which I intend to do - Start with just one small hole, say 5mm. Try it, then add another, then drill one out to 1/2" (or is that 12.5 mm ??) and so on. Gives a bit more control so you can stop the mod if it starts getting too loud for your taste. Steve (KLX)
