A 2000 that needs a rebuild? Being as those engines can last for at least 60,000 miles, that thing must have been treated like absolute crap. I hope your getting it for *very* cheap. Ryan Phoenix

Walt, One of these days your wife, or some other woman is going to find out how much fun you are having and put a stop to it. Trust me! taf

David, ignore the absurd slant-eye comment. Nobody has a monopoly on stupidity. We recently had a "highly educated very intelligent anglo-saxon" President who thought the best way to take action against terrorism was to send his cruise missle into the mouth of an intern about the age of his daughter. I'm also sorry yoy took what I said as a racial commet. When Japan expanded it factory base in to other countries, They did have quailty control issues due to untrained labor and some problems with getting lines up to speed. You see the same problem in cars and electronics from South Korea. They have experinced the same type of problem. Sincerely, David L. Gay --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Dave, Please, please don't apologize no matter what they taught you in social engineering school. The controversy ( mild in my opinion ) that you generated was fun and a necessary relief from the tech stuff. That's why we have nklr. This list is getting a little woosey compared to past years. Don't cave in. Did we win the cold war to live like this ? Keep up the good work ? Bogdan, waving the black flag of anarchy

Tell me George how many pages did the book have? I'll bet it has fewer pages than the DMV book written for the English speaking population..at least that is what I have observed...How do they do that? Tom B GEORGE WROTE "Early today I went down to the Escondido DMV to get a Drivers Handbook so that I could brush up on the laws before renewing my license.THE F- - - - - G THING IS IN TAGALOG. I'm 6'2", blond,(grey), blue eyed Californian who is not from the Philipines. Jeeze! The California highways are filled with licensed drivers who can't operate a motor vehicle and now I know where they got them." Tom B

Tom, 81 pages. Think I'll start collecting the whole set before the State changes the official language. G. Tom Baumen wrote:

There is no official language of the United States. Taken from the web ... "H.R. 123, "The Bill Emerson English Language Empowerment Act of 1996" passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 259-169, with 36 Democrats joining Republicans in this vote. The Senate failed to act on the bill before the session was over. There are 25 states, which have enacted legislation to make English their official language. Alaska, Georgia, Montana, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Virginia, Wyoming and Missouri were the last states to adopt this legislation."
