disconnecting the damn ignition parking light

Gen1 key can be removed in either off, steering lock or park positions. The problem some have is turning one position too far, so instead of lock, the switch is in park which leaves the tail light and city light wires powered. Those who make the mistake of using the city light wires to power other things, add to the drain.
It's easy to do, when tired, and like most things, some are more prone to it than others.
I like the feature and use LED tail, plus LED marker lights on the front. If it's not very bright sun, I'm not likely to leave the amber front markers on accidentally.

My 2013 DR650 is at 7800 miles. Bought it used with 1800 miles. Time for valve adjustments ?Does it use shims like my KLR ?Chris  Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
