handlebars

Jim, I guess it depends on how far you want to raise your riding position. I sell several handlebar risers that will raise your handlebars 1 or 1.6 . The pivoting Rox risers will raise your handlebars about 2 and also give you a front to back adjustment. The ProTaper SE ATV 7/8 handlebars are aluminum and come in different rises & colors. The high bend would be about 3/4 higher than the stock handlebars. Just getting back into the dirt side of motorcycles after a long absence so it could just be me. But have there been any popular handlebar swaps for a lttle more rise? In no partiular order... THe RM high bend, the ATV high bend, the Renthal Desert 666. I've even used Mini ATV high bends before. The advantage of those is that there is more bar end area for mounting all of your GPS, SPOT, satellite phone, hd camera, cupholders, etc. Others opt for bar risers with a lower bar bend. Lots of ways to skin that cat. da Vermonster

Luc-and others: In the LINKS (on the left side of the display) Click on LINKS-- Touch/click -- FAQ in the MAINTENANCE section is quick list of usable torque settings. Print it out/laminate it and put it with your maintenance stuff. NOTE: Clear shelf paper makes a decent laminate. revmaaatin.
