long story and a riddle, wheel bearings

Bogdan asked:
>Does freezing them make a significant difference ?
I don't know if it's "significant" or not.   I'm sure it's not more than a few thousandth's of an inch, but it's cheap and easy, so why not?  On the other hand, I am sure you could get them in there at room temperature, too. Paul Streeter

long story and a riddle, wheel bearings

Does leaving them for 6 months make them slip in easier? I've only put mine in the freezer for 1/2 or so but now I see that I may have to plan further ahead.
Wouldn't it be better to put the wheels in the sun for 6 months?

Yes it would as long as they re turning and rubber side down, but you d need the bearings that are in the freezer.
