ed A17 I like my KLR the way it sounds stock and I have 15,000 miles on it. I think it tis getting louder though, because when it was new I used to ride up on game on the trails all the time. Now they seem to alert faster. I'd like to get back to the new stack sound. You know like a sewing machine! Yea, that's they way I like it. Am I the only one? Jesus Ch****. Okay, is this short enough for you: if there is anything you
don't like about my posts, don't read them.

"Rap?" All Rap? So you know and state as a fact, that all Rap is vulgar
and takes no talnet to produce?
Okay now you're just depressing me. Do I actually live in this world? How
about just letting people listen to what they want to without your judgiung
them for it?
Okay Rich, for real...you guys are just saying things to make me type now
aren't you? I get it. You guys are more clever than I'm giving you credit
for. No one can really still think the way you do...I hope.

I wouldn't say the sound of a KLR is great, but I do like it quiet. My buddy and I like to talk while we ride out in the country, putting along looking at the scenery. We took the windshields of too. Tired of talking over wind noise.

Yea, that's they way I like it.
Am I the only one?

brake pads: who uses what
EBC sells a severe duty pad for the KLR650 rear brake. I've had a
pair on for about 1k miles & they seem to work much better than
standard pads. They also looked a bit thicker than standard.
I've got an oversize front brake rotor & those OEM pads look like
they'll last forever.

"There is no solution that includes dumping whatever you want, whenever
you want into the environment."
Dumping sound is no better than dumping chemicals, man. I live right off
a road with a ton of loud biker traffic, and I can tell you the noise is
a bigger inconvenience/annoyance/hazard than the oil leaks/trash/flaming
ciggy butts that only pollute visually.
Loud pipes suck ass.
