Sheesh! I had a Matchless G80 for awhile in California in '63 I think. A '49 and '58 Gold Star in the late 60's early '70s, and Xt500 in the late '70's.  Yes, the KLR is very smooth compared to those bikes. Even the DR 650 I had for a bit in 2012 was smooth. ;-)
