did you see this?

Post by James W. Flower » Wed Oct 02, 2013 10:38 pm

John-  Have you a source for this?  No sign of it in the video nadedwaterskier pointed us to, or in the news piece.       But let's say it's true:  I'd like to think that none of us would react the way these riders did.   No excuse for it. On Oct 2, 2013, at 6:09 PM, John Littel wrote:

It is reasonably foreseeable that he will try to escape, and that's what he did. If you've put your bike or your body on the roadway in front of him, you've "assumed the risk" that his escape will harm you, EVEN if your intentions are not in fact malicious. And given that these riders had already proven themselves willing to commit several crimes, from reckless driving to false imprisonment, I'm being charitable, especially in light of their chasing down the driver and beating him up. If they thought they had a legitimate beef against him, they should have called the police. But of course, then they would have had to explain how it all started.

Watch out riding next few days. Drivers will be hateful.  The car should have stopped. He would be on his way 30 seconds later but he didn't feel like it. HE HAD A RIGHT TO DRIVE.   The Moto guys were the idiots thinking they own the world. Bunch of violent low life's.  It gives us, people who ride normally a very bad look.  If the car was really cutting them off on purpose beforehand, then the guy was just asking for it.   A terrible incident.  No doubt about it.  Life changes in a second.  Please use minds over emotions.  Not so easy sometimes... -David Zmobile: 646.267.1109www.thelegendofzarko.com

I agree no excuse for what happened. I saw an earlier video that showed the rover moving across the lanes to cut off riders- I don't know why we haven't seen more of that.
