I just purchased a 1995 klr 650, and as is my practice, I am doing a
general maintenance/fluid change and when I pulled the filter, the
center guide tube, looks like a plunger assembly in the manual, of
course, was gone. fortunately, just having read about this problem in
the scads of KLR info on the web, I am now looking for one
Any body have this thingy? my dealer is saying 10 to 15 days !!! to get

Speaking of oil filters - i use this place, you get 2 filters
delivered to your door for around $7 - $8 depending on what bike your
needing a filter for.

I use the stainless because of the lack of availability of spare parts
where I intend to wander. One less thing to carry on an overloaded
machine.

oil filter
Hi, I recently imported my '97 KLR650 to Spain and I need to change the oil and filter. I am having a hard time finding an aftermarket filter here.
Does anyone know where I can find one online that will ship to Spain?
Your help will be much appreciated!
thanks,
awehber.
