Bought some IMS pegs on eBAy recently and they showed up yesterday. They look dangerous !! The teeth remind me of a piranha, and look capable of removing a large chunk of flesh in one scoop. Has anybody ever been injured by these? And, what do they do to the bottom of your boots? I'm tempted to take a file and get rid of the sharp points on all the teeth, but that would probably reduce their effectiveness in mud and wet. Opinions welcome.

Just wear heavy boots and riding paints (and try not to fall). I have been using those pegs for probably 8 or nine years. They are the least of my worries. Criswell

The IMS Super Stock Pegs have rounded off points. They are what I and I believe most KLR riders who have IMS pegs use. Walt
