I finished the Alberta 2000 on Saturday. It was a perfect opportunity to
check out the mileage. I stopped at about 300 km intervals, (185 mi),
and I found that if I held it to an indicated 110 kph I got 67 to 69
miles per imperial gallon, and if it was held at 120 kph it went 60 to
64 miles per imperial gallon . About half the normal trip luggage, and a
16 tooth front sprocket. I think that the cabin heater could use some
work though.

Might help a little by reducing frictional losses within the engine at those speeds.> 16 tooth front sprocket.
What state, with what kind of gasoline? _E> denvowell@... wrote: > >> I got 58 mpg on my last two tanks of gas.Just me with no luggage.

64 miles per imperial gallon fills me with hope. 60+ miles per US gallon
fills me alternately with disbelief and despair.
