In roadracing jargon, it's when a front end wobble builds on itself until the bars are slamming from steering lock to steering lock. On some bikes, there's enough flex in the forks and bar mounts (the fit from bar to tank is tight enough) for the bars to actually hit the fuel tank. In enduro jargon, it's when your genitals try to occupy the same space as the fuel tank, at the same time. Unpleasant. Teaches you to keep at least one foot on the pegs when riding. A corbin dip seat makes this more likely, as does loose-fitting underwear. Most enduro guys I know wear tightie-whities, or tight bicycling shorts under their riding pants. Devon

I bet the 4 mm tubes add to that gyro effect. I just mounted 270's and the bike likes to right itself in corners, I have heard this before about the 270's also, lean it hard in corners and by the time your coming out of the corner the bike is fighting to be back upright. rockefeller bike show snapshots.....

Caught the last day of the Rockefeller Center Bike Show. Some interesting stuff, only a few examples of silly over-chromed unrideable crap cruiser showbikes. As you can tell I found the Britten the most interesting. 216.173.6.149/klr/Rockefeller_bike_show Devon
