11th annual ride to work day - today! nklr

Post by PRBKLR@cs.com » Thu Jul 18, 2002 7:12 am

I do the same thing, business casual, however I will admit that I am a fair weather biker. Riding in the rain is not ideal when dressed in 100% wool slacks and a business casual shirt. Folks here don't have a problem with me riding, in fact they often talk of how they wish they had a bike and the nerve to ride one. I always tell them to go for it! They never do... They also get a kick out of my Joe Rocket bright yellow jacket too. Riding to/from work is the best as I get to relieve a great deal of frustration this way. The only problem I have is weather and the ocassional splattered bug on my pants leg or shirt. Paul Frisco, TX jafet martinez wrote:

I think that one of the Kurts recommends not waiting that long and checking them at 0 miles. I would have to agree with him as I don't trust any of my local dealers nor do I trust BigK's QC. When the hell are the molds gonna wear out for the KLR? Z DC
