Ride it until the stock exhaust starts to "tweet", then replace it if you are embarassed (I'm not. Reminds me of my old VW Beetles and busses). In the meantime, drill out the pilot screw plug and back the screw out a total of three turns.

A nice upgrade. Will improve the feel, but not the actual stopping power

Ride it until they're worn out. Overall, they're really pretty good tires. When they're toast, check in with the listers and see what will work for you.

Good idea for any real off-road excursions (especially if it's rocky and you get a little frisky).

Put a tee in the carb vent line (see millions of posts in the archives), add a set of Pro-Grip Gel grips, and Acerbis Rally Pro Guards and you're ready to go have a lot of fun.

Yes. Make sure to check the valve clearance @ 500 miles; they're usually on the tight side by then.

Get your neighbor to buy them and pay him cash. He gets to keep the reward points and you get a clean Visa bill. ________ Paypal is the best thing going this way...no paper trail for SO's... Kurt

, Yeah, that's the one *I* use all the time, and am getting ready to again when my order from Fred comes next week. You have to also include, of course, a "what are you, blind?" look on your face to be fully effective. Mark St.Hilaire, Sr A15 HomePage: http://home.adelphia.net/~msaint/
