Any Ideas?   <><><><><><><> <><><><><><><>   That could be something like the clutch switch out of adjustment or the contacts inside the clutch switch having high resistance (dirty).  The clutch switch is below the clutch lever on the handlebar.   It could also be a bad starter circuit relay.  The starter circuit relay is located next to the starter relay (solenoid).  It is about 2 1/2 inches tall and maybe as round as a roll of quarters.  It has four wire under a rubber cover on one end.  If you ground the blue/red wire and it then cranks with the starter button it suggests the clutch switch is not allowing a ground.  If you jumper either yellow/red wire to the black wire and then push the starter button it should crank.  That bypasses the starter circuit relay totally.   Give that a try and let us know in detail what you discover.  We can proceed as appropriate.   The starter circuit relay and fan relay are the same part.  The fan relay is located under the fuel tank on the right side of the frame backbone.  There are inexpensive substitute parts available if you need one.   This info is from list members.   FAN AND STARTER SAFETY CIRCUIT RELAY relay is rated 12Volts 22 Amps. OK, that wasn't grounding them it was just connecting them to each other.  : )   Now connect a wire to the blue/red wire and connect the other end to ground (frame bare metal or battery negative terminal).  Don't have the black and yellow/red connected anymore but do have the connector plugged into the relay.  Try the starter button.  If it cranks it says it is the clutch switch or wire related to it.  If it doesn't crank it suggests the relay is bad.   Best,   Jeff   On Mon, 11 Apr 2016 01:08:01 +0000 (UTC) Richard Watkins writes:

Jeff,Right, connected. I had tried grounding the blue red and it would not start. Then I unplugged the connector and connected the black and red yellow and it would turn over, So does that mean the fan/starter relay needs replaced? Richard, If it didn't crank when you connected the blue/red wire to ground it suggests the starter circuit relay is bad. If you want to try the fan relay as a substitute you will have to remove the tank to get to it. You could also just get a replacement relay at your local auto parts store. If you call Corbin Seats they should be able to tell you what this fits by the markings and numbers on the bottom of the seat.  If it was me, I would find out what it fits and list it for sale for that specific model.  You could probably get at least $150 for it (if not more).  If you start tearing it up, its not worth anything.  I would turn the $10 into $150+.   On Monday, April 11, 2016 10:09 AM, "Martin Earl mjearl4@... (head scratch, but you got my attention)The latest version has a threaded plug and drilled to accomplish the same thing. = higher oil pressure, (but to what end? more scratching, different hair source. cough) this is where the recipe (probably previously explained, but I am still confused) goes South.Why are we increasing oil pressure (carb jet or threaded/drilled plug) and where is it doing the most good?
