Coconut oil requires fewer decisions than olive oil. With olive oil there's all the virgin, extra-virgin stuff.
I think I have it figured out though: The more virgin the oil, the uglier the olive.

Yes, some require a bit more than a few martinis!!! :) And I own the worlds ugliest Suburban and her name is olive, she is an old forest service rig, but she is paid for and runs great and no one would consider breaking in as they would not want to get that color on them or be seen in it. :) I really wonder where everyone is, as I too have not been on much. Got one more project to complete then you call all hear about how I do when I do my Valves (still got to get around to buying the Shims from Fred)... My last ride was from Northern California up to Reno, Nevada and back through Ebbitts Pass into the valley of hell... The entire journey was awesome, even had to put my jacket liner on for part of it and for me that is unusual. This year was so dry in the High country it felt like August and this was late may. The trip before that was on the BMW with a group to Yosemite, another incredible trip, had not been there in 25 years or so. Been a good year have gotten some really nice trips in, plus the daily driving. Michael

Speaking of shims....  There was basically only once source for valve shims and these were made in Japan.  They were sold by many distributors and were good quality shims.  Never had any issues with any of those that I sold.  Last Summer/Fall the source in Japan raised their prices significantly and so the US distributor stopped selling those and has come up with a new source. (also Japanese)  I like these new shims as they look to have more nickel in them, a little more shiny and have less sharp corners.  I was just running out of the old shims when these new shims became available so I now have these new shims in the 16 assortment kits.  Don t be fooled by some other brands of shim kits because they include many sizes of shims that the KLR will never need and also these other brands will skip every other size where the kits I put together will have every size and only sizes specific to the KLR.   Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com   From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, June 04, 2015 10:17 AM To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Re: HELLO IS ANYONE OUT THERE? Fred,   Your web site shows per shim and then the kit; is this correct?  One shim is @ $8 bucks and the complete kit @ $120?   Thank you - Ateam   From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, June 04, 2015 10:29 AM To: libertyeagle@... ; DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Re: HELLO IS ANYONE OUT THERE? hello is anyone out there? (nklr)

We have over 6,000 members on KLR650 Owners. It has a firm politeness and family lever language standard which seems to fit with most people.

I'm sorry to see the slowing of the traditional web groups because the search function is so useful. People do seem to be much more active on a per capita basis through FB which is interesting.

klr owners going to concours rally?

Post by svlandman » Fri Jun 05, 2015 4:56 pm

I know there are a few KLR owners who also "cross dress" on a Kawasaki Concours. Any body here going to the rally in Cortez next week? I plan on taking 191 from the border in SE AZ (side trip to the rally) on up through Utah and Wyoming, and time permitting through Montana to the border. david greenberg hereford, az
