I think Steve Secrist (sp?) is from Cin. There is also a pretty active group in the HSTA in Indiana, including Paul Cain in Indy, who has made an Alaskan trip on his KLR. I think Paul is on the list, you out there Paul? The HSTA had an event down there over the weekend, staying at a hotel right down there. You could fit in with that group if you wanted to. MMc PS: the weather was supposed to be crap this weekend but it was beautiful but cold. jlawburg@... wrote:

Howdy Jim ... It may have been me you saw posting but there is another that monitors sometimes. There is also a fellow that has a new mc shop in OH but near the IN state line. His place seems to be a meeting place for going on rides in your area. His URL is http://www.sporttour.com/. His e-mail is ray@... , give him a shout so he can get you on our contact list so you can get suckered ... er, invited on a ride. Steve Secrest in Cincinnati

Hey Mark ... you're close. Trade the "i" for an "e". The weather was chilly bit I managed to get a few hours in at the crack of dawn on Sunday! Steve Secrest in Cincy

her full name now is Divina Moreira Cruz Ball, the lucky newlywed. the Di is pronounced like a J as in jeff (Jivina). i have asked her to right something down and i will translate it into english for her. Here in Brazil the price of diesel is 1/2 that of gasoline. I saw in American Motorcyclist that a company in calif. is turning klr to diesel for the Army? I was wondering what the performance of these bikes is like. Here in Brazil the most popular bike is the Honda CG125 Titan. it is amazing how many of them there are, compared to the number of motorcycles we usually see in the states. later jeff P.S. Divina and i did take a spin the other day on an XR200, and she loves it, being able to hold me tight as we go down the road. Webmail Nortecnet http://www.nortecnet.com.br

I think Divina ought to pilot that XR200 on her own and then have her accompany you to Moab next spring/summer... Kurt

Ya'll know what a Harley and a hound dog have in common ? They both like to ride in the back of a pick-up truck...... I'd like to own a Harley one day but I just can't afford a Pick-up truck to haul it around in. Do you know how to tell if a group of Harley riders are going out of town ? There's a pick-up or a van pulling a trailer somewhere behind them. Go to Daytona for Bike Week sometime and along about Jacksonville, Fl. on I-95, pull off the interstate at some Quick stop and watch 'em unload the Harleys for the ride into Daytona. Bikers my ass.....

Yes. Who would have thought they would copyright that name? What would they do with it, put "Duff" on kiddies thermos flasks or something? I wonder if "D'oh" is copyrighted. Mister_T
