Pinch flats. That's another reason I want BIGGER (2") patchs, they will cover a pinhole OR A PINCH HOLE. & it was a pinch hole that I had in TN. I had the tire off and tought DARN, NO BABY POWER to put on the tube before installing, I forgot about having a small bottle of "MONKEY BUTT" in my shower kit. Can you say DUUUUUHHHHHHH! (who sells a) I get my patches at the 'tractor supply' store. My store will sell you one or a dozen. NAPA is another source; though you might have to buy more than you want. You can get nice 2" patches and a fresh can of glue. This size will cover a pinch flat just right. Not that I would know.... It would be a good idea to put packing tape over the directions to protect the print on the glue can. sigh. The glue is particular on how it is applied and doing it incorrectly allows you to try again. At least that is what I heard. cough. good tire patch kit? (who sells a)
I just Wish Kawasaki would go to a tubeless rim design kinda like the Super Tenere or just a cast wheel kinda like on my Verseys. Why is it dirt type bikes always have a tube tire on a spoke rim? Are spoke rims stronger and lighter?

Tubeless? Well for one thing it would be a BIG ISSUE when we let 1/2 the air OUT, when riding dirt trails etc. And Tubes are ALOT easier to repair or replace when 20-50 miles away from pavement, let alone 50 miles away from ANYWHERE.
