I hope this is ok for this list... if not please delete. Here's the listing when I bought it... I have a 2002 in OG color. Its basically in excellent condition with https://picasaweb.google.com/brianengelstad/Klr6502002?authkey=Gv1sRgCI-35IyXvsaxJg# I really like this bike, but bought a 2007 DL650 when I realized I just can't ride to the North Shore of Superior on the KLR without the vibration bothering me too much. The DL650 will never go where the KLR could take me, but I can go further on it in a day more comfortably. I'd like to have a stable of bikes, but just can't justify it. After about 3 500 days into a 5000 mile trip, all the things that bug you about a bike comes to forth. Everyone has their different likes and dislikes. I even stopped by Corbin in Hollister with my DL1000 on a trip to had them modify the seat while there. He cut and reshaped the seat, then I would ride it around the parking lot, and he would modify a bit more. Felt really good. A thousand miles down the road a couple days later. Not so good. I guess I was spoiled to the relation my butt had with the corbin seats on my 3 BMW's. I had done several 1000 mile days on them without the hind end being a factor. Wish they had not of priced themselves out of what I want to pay for a bike , plus my dealer a 105 miles from me going bad. Really enjoyed my 124,000 miles of riding them. Only did 16,000 on the DL in 14 months before get rid of it for my present 07 Bandit in '08 which has a corrected 70+ thousand on it. The KLR , well , that Corin has been on it two weeks after I bought the bike in the Fall of '99 to do some more of the TAT.
