The last thing you want is a tool you need to baby. Carry a 1/4" with a
3/8" adapter and a cheater bar if you absolutely must reduce the size of
your toolkit. I'd stick with 3/8" ratchet *and* combo wrenches of the
8,10,12,13,14,15,17mm sizes, sockets of the same, an extension, a set of
3/8" allen head drivers, combo screwdriver, vise-grips/knipex, spark
plug wrench, flashlight, spare nuts and bolts and the like. Believe me,
you won't be worrying about a carrying a couple of extra wrenches when
you break down, at night, in the rain, far from home and need them.
