Can anyone tell me what a fair price would be for a 2001, KLR650 with 1,800 miles on it. Excellent condition with lowering links. Also, for a 2000 KLR250 with 500 miles in excellent condition. Thanx, Dan

Hey guys... I haven't post in a long while. I don't even know if this kind of post is allowed, but I have a 1999 KLR650 for sale. It has alot of extras... like progressive shock, stainless steel brake line, 25 liter plastic gas tank, side rollbars, heated grips, brand new chain and plug. I live in Montreal Canada so anyone willing to pick it up can email me. reason for sale is that I have no use for a dual purpose bike. At first I thought it would be great to have in case of a sejourn but that never occured. This is my first bike (I'm 18). I think I'm going to go for a Suzuki sv650s. Take care to all. Danny

Hey guys. first post. I hope I'm not breaking any laws by posting a bike for sale here. Anyway, it's a 1999 KLR650. 36,000 KM. 25 liter plastic IMS tank, Happy trails side racks, stainless steel brake line, progressive shocks. Works great. only problem I have is that the signal lights don't blink. They just stay on and you hear a buzzing noise. Esthetically, the tank is plain white. the fairing and rest are the bluish-green of an original 1999 model, although they have been exposed to the sun and the colour is faded. what needs to be changed: rear sprocket front/rear brakes tyres are ok... if I remember correctly, they are pirelli T66. I bought a new chain right before winter. There's maybe 40km on it. It is just rusted because of the weather recently. (rain) the bike is in Montreal, Canada. asking price is $3,300 CDN negotiable. email me for pics. Daniel

With heavy heart, I'm offering my well sorted A7 for sale. On June 19 my wife and I were out for a leisurely ride on our Ace Tourer, and were hit head-on by a minivan. My injuries include both shoulders an left hip dislocated, with both L hip and shoulder requiring surgery. I'll be off work for approximately 6 months if all goes well, and won't even be able to consider riding for at least a year. 1993 A7 with Y2K plastic and tank(military conversion take-offs from Dual Star), Dual Star radiator guard, shifter, skid plate, Odyssey AGM battery, safety switches defeated, wide rear rack with Pelican 1520 case for trunk, Kawasaki tank bag, all fuses relocated into fairing and soldered, double heat-shrink wrapped. It has a low front fender, auxiliary lights and fan over ride switches run through relays. It has nearly new Pirelli MT90 STs, Rocky Mountain ATV handguards, taller atv bend aluminum bars. The instrument cluster is from a KLR600, but works fine. The doohickey and spring were replaced as was the front sprocket. It also has a Loobman chain oiler, +9" windscreen, stock windscreen, and spare rear IRC GP110 tire. The bike has always been garaged since I've owned it, and has approximately 19K miles. Oil useage is minimal, gas mileage is almost always 60+, but has been as low as 55mpg and as high as 65mpg. I really don't want to sell as I consider it an ultra dependable, go anywhere at anytime bike. Other than being dirty, the bike looks and is quite excellent. I'm between Harrisburg and Carlisle, Pa, and asking $1900. IMO, its worth more than that to me, but it needs a good home. Email me at xt535@..., or call 717-691-5645. This isn't intended as a troll for sympathy, just trying to sell my bike rather than let it sit for a year. Eric Stevens Mechanicsburg, Pa

I forgot to mention that the fuse holders are weatherproof, mini-ato type, and I have spare brake and clutch levers, throttle and clutch cables. The license plate has been relocated upward, new fork seals, new fork gaitors, Twinair filter, and Supertrapp IDS2 exhaust that is NOT loud. I also have the Kawasaki KLR600 and 650 manuals....all to go with the bike. Eric Stevens Mechanicsburg, Pa

klr650 for sale

Post by koby686 » Tue Feb 20, 2007 9:48 pm

I am reluctantly selling my 2005 KLR650, as school demands necessitate. It is in excellent condition, never wrecked or anything. It has 5796 highway miles on it, maybe 50 or so were on dirt roads. I have installed a happy-trails luggage rack with Pelican 1550 panniers attached, perfect condition. Also tall windshield and custom front fender (have original too). Brand new rear 50/50 tire, with a brand new 60/40 dirt/street rear tire extra. Love this bike, it has never given me any problems at all. I am a college student and can't afford it anymore, someone take it off my hands! Selling for 4,300. my email is koby686@... thanks!
