Yes sir, this is correct, verified, substanitated and experienced.
However, as a sidebar observation, if you pack your Dinty-Moore Beef
Stew in the soft luggage, near the exhaust pipe in the morning at
0700, it will be toasty-warm at 1800 when it is time for supper while
others are digging out the camp stove and burning themselves with
uncontrolled liquid fuel, etal. In lou of Dinty Moore stew, dried
Ramen noodles (styver-foam cup packaging, c snip above) do not work
near the exhaust pipe, at lest that is what I have heard (8~o...:
revmaaatin.
