Has anyone tried the Eagle handlebar risers being offered and
comments on them +/-???

Got mine from Mike last month.
+ ? Control front end better, less stress, arm is
resting mid rib and less pressure to front end
resulting to better handling. So far so good.
- ? Can't think of anything yet.

Yes. I had them before I swapped front ends. They fit the KLR perfectly, and I was very happy with them. You can get a similar effect with taller bend bars, but it you like your bars these are an ideal solution. Not to mention you can fit the risers in about 10 minutes, instead of close to an hour for swapping bars.
The Zen site made a big deal about the risers making it easier to tighten the steering nut, but this always seemed silly (four allen bolts isn't a big deal and if you properly torque the stem nut it doesn't loosen up).

I bought the ZEN risers which are now offered by Eagle or are similar
to I believe, and I like em. I like the position better when on the
pegs and they put me a bit more upright on the seat. Take a good look
at the attachement points for the risers and you will see that it
moves the bars more back than up, but you can rotate the bars up and
forward.

Jim,
I'm actually the guy that made the Zen risers. Bill Rose of Zen has
eased out of the motorcycle business, and is going into making
trailers. I bought the project back from him. (If someone pays me
for the engineering/programming - I don't make the parts for anyone
else - they own the project.)

Hey Jak,
You have me wondering about the risers for the bars. I have the
Highway peg engine guard set up also . Am thinking that It would be a
length of torso and inseam related issue. I am 5 ' 9" with 32 inseam.
Do you think it would add to riding comfort for me? Have the JCW trunk
as well. I believe you mentioned you are on the Eastern Shore. I am in
the Salisbury, and Milton Del area. Have been considering a mount off
the passenger grab rails for the JCW trunk on the zx6r as well.
