To Machog: thanks for the tip on the St owners forum. Looks good. To Norm: the key to finding time for both rides is self-inflicted guilt. To keep the family happy (Ms. KLR and Ms. ST) I alternate during the weekdays with short, evening rides. Distance and terrain dictate the choice for weekends rides. Not racking up the miles but it keeps harmony in the stable. ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Caution: NOTE--to those of faint of faith or low in humor; ABORT NOW. You have been warned. cough. We all call upon our life experiences and 'education' to participate in this forum, so-o-o-o-o Boys, boys, boys, You have got me shaking my head. ...first, Norm goes out and commits KLR adultery, loving a 2d motorcycle, and now Bradd is telling us how motorcycle polygamy is an accepted, and highly practiced ritual at his house. Next think you know, somebody is going to tell us they actually ride a Honda, or worse. I think I am going to have a moral dilemma. Perhaps--the only thing I can do to feel cleansed after reading these post is purge my antifreeze (baptism) and anoint myself with brake fluid. (IF it were less than 95F, I would, I just know I would.) revmaaatin. who really needs to change the AF and brake fluid-- hopefully in the next 24 hours.

Uh Oh! Maybe I'm in BIG need of Divine Intervention and perhaps a bit of dispensation...............I not only ride both of my KLR's. but my BigStrom, my '88 Hawk and my son's KTM throughout the week. And when I get it back together, my 450 Duck as well. At least the first four shift and brake alike............the duc is 1up, 4 down on the right and my little brother's Beezers and Trumpets are right footed as well. And his new Nightster, but we won't go there. I am Buddy, I am a motorcycoholic. president in charge of vice, leftcoastklrsociety bseifert71@...

The bad news is that Norm is leaving the group. He was a great teacher. The good news is that Norm's KLR had so many farkles, he can probabley get around $20,000 for it.

Sirs, it was not me that suggested to check out bicycle racer s behinds, it was our dear friend Luc who came up with that idea. I really fancied the new way of marinating and pickling the steaks, but preferably not by scrawny, tough bicycle racers, but again, the girl s volleyball team would do fine. yummi. Yesterday I had a slight mishap when one of my newly installed shims floated on too much oil, and jammed when I turned the engine over. Subsequently panic and cursing resulted in the T topmark and the marks on the camshaft sprockets to be out of time, so that took me the rest of the day to sort all that out, by removing the chain tensioner, and lifting the chain over the teeth of the sprockets, only four times. Luckily I had our friend Zacharias Mully who gave me free advice and moral support, and the night before a Greek shipmaster had regaled me a bottle of real French brandy, which surely came in handy to neutralize the negative emotions. So today I will install the tank and seat, and go for a ride, hopefully everything is ok now. Morale: never turn the engine clockwise. Don t pour oil in the cups before you install the new shims. Don t ever drink my brandy. goodday sirs. Jake or Jacque or Jacob, I am just as a dog, as long as you feed me you can call me by any name. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for a deal?
