Kevin, I had a 1960 Plymouth Belvedere (looked just like this http://www.aeclassic.com/belvedere/index.html), 225 slant six. We called it the "carp". With the fins and what looked like a mouth it looked like a huge bass. Got 11 people in the trunk and snuck in the drive-in. What blast!!! Chuck C

replacement battery

Unless you need that battery right away, why not call a battery shop in town and ask them if they can order sealed m/c batteries. I got my sealed battery through a place that mostly deals with Golf Cart and RV deep cycle batteries, but carried all kinds of others. Comes dry anyway, open acid packs and insert, seal battery and charge.. tada now when the bike is on its side (sure bet it will be someday again) no leaks. Just my Opinion Pretty sure Fred also sells something close to it also. Dooden A15 Green Ape P.S. from the FAQ: What replacement batteries are available? The original battery is a Yuasa YB14L-A2, and there is a Die Hard equivalent at Sears. WalMart also has inexpensive batteries. Yuasa also makes a fully sealed AGM battery that is an exact replacement, the YTX14AHL-BS. This battery comes with an acid pack that the dealer or customer activates when putting the battery in service. WestCo also makes a sealed battery, the 12V14L-B. For extra current and reserve capacity, there is the Odyssey PC 545 gell cell (non-MJ version). This battery must be mounted on its side to fit in the KLR battery box, and you will have to extend one of the power cables. The Big Crank AGM (absorbed glass mat) battery is another possiblity, as is the WestCo. --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "southampton12000" wrote:
