I got it from Nielsen Enterprises for $5,500 out the door. They originally wanted $5,00 OTD, but then they met my wife AKA the family hagler:) I have always had good experiences from them before. Plus they are only about 7 miles from my house.

I'm only about 20 minutes from Bong. I used to take my ATV and Honda NX650 there. It's not too exciting, but it's somewhere to go. I would definatley be up for going there though. Matt B

Hi Matt, Sounds like that wife-lady worked out a wonderful deal for the bike shop. How did she ever convince them to accept the other $500? Hope you both enjoy the bike as your other 6000 friends enjoy theirs. revmaaatin. who is just reading the post, observing the intricate prowess of bargaining, as posted, without interpretation, interpolation, or intrepidness. --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "Matt Brooks" wrote:

Thanks for the help. I got the valve shims in today and had them installed and the bike back together in a little over an hour. I went for about five mile ride and did not experience any stalls like before. The clearances are at the upper limit so I should be set for a few more miles. I was pleasantly surprised how easy of job this was. I think it was harder to wait for the shims than it was doing anything else, although I have taken the tank off so many times I think I can do it blind folded. Now its time to ride.
