making side racks
Thanks for all the feedback,
I went with the oval shape for ease of construction. This was really my
first bending / brazing project and didn't want it too complicated.
Since then I have decided that the rack was actually strong enough to
mount some "harder" luggage to it. I mounted some actionpacker dry
boxes to the racks to have some dry lockable storage.

making side racks
These are on EBAY for buy it price of $70 + $12 ship. Look similar to the ones posted. Anyone know if these are good or not; $82 for pair seems like good deal.
