I ride year round except when we have ice or packed snow. Fortunately not often here in NW Arkansas. I have heard warnings not to ride spiked tires. Has anyone much experience with them? Are they DOT approved? Thanks for the kind words about my friends stolen bike. Unfortunately she didn't have insurance. We will start looking for another KLR in the spring. Kenny
