Since the phrase search is not working for me, someone please tell me if you carry a single innertube, should you carry the 17 or 21" Thanks A 17" tube will not work in the front tire---but, a 21" tube will work in the rear---preferably on a temporary basis. Mark Sampson www.bigdogadventures.com

I prefer to run Bridgestone Ultra HD tubes with and carry patches, which are lighter and take up less space. A 21" tube in the rear might get you back to civilization, but so will leaves stuffed in the tire. Mark PS: NEVER stuff an old tarp into a tire.

if you want your adventure to be cut short, carry one tube. if you want to keep having fun carry both. i bought into the carry one mode. it gets you off the mountain. but, also brings you away from your adventure. my advice is carry both and keep playing! don in utah __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? beautiful day in the neighborhood

Anywhere on a KLR today was a beautiful day. An outstanding day in the mountains of extreme SoCal. 120+ miles this morning and then I had to come back to work. And reading about Torst's adventures in Baja......and then the "Dust to Glory" trailer. And running into a fellow lister along the highway while at work........A great KLR day indeed. Only one more day....and off to ride some more. bseifert71@...
