duro tires
I had some for about 7k. I was really impressed. Good road traction,
decent off-road, and good wear. If they had any downside, i ride more 40-60
off-road so I wound up having to go to a knobbier tire.

duro tires
I'm on my 2nd set of them and really like them! I'm a 60/40 rider,
myself, and have been very pleased with them. My first set got me
8500 miles before the back one started "get my attention". One tip,
be sure to air them up if you do any extended road riding. My front
one started to "cup" because I didn't keep enough pressure (28-30psi)
in it.

I have about 2000 miles on a set of Duro Medians, very little wear so far. In Baja last month I was running them at 16 lbs front and 18 rear with no problems. They feel good on the highway and worked well on the mostly hard packed dirt roads I was on. I don't think they would work well in sand or mud. So far I like them and especially considering the price. I think it was Jake who got around 10,000 miles on them. duro tires
I installed a Duro on the rear last summer and at about 1500 miles the
center of the tire just started separating and coming apart, and as I
was getting ready for a trip I replaced it and I would not buy another
one.

MarkB - your Orange KLR is just fine - Think and Say - KTM KTM and your
Orange will grow into a Austrian DS that eats paychecks but delivers extreme
DS performance.
Or, do like I do and run with them and push the KLR to and beyond its
limits. You should see my fork internals! 9" of travel - $%^&, my little
KLR650 gave up 9"+ and a bit more~! BTW - the KTM crowd of 950 owners were
in shock that the little bitc% KLR650 could do IT. Your Orange KLR would
simply drive them to drink!
