muffler drain plugs

Air leaks in the exhaust can cause backfiring. Check the fittings, behind the rear brake master there is a clamp with a gasket, make sure thats tight and at the beginning of the header pipe where it clamps on the motor I think there is a copper crush type gasket in there. Standard warning with exhaust bolts and nuts apply, "easy to break" Dooden A15 Green Ape
