klr subframe upgrade

I, OTOH, weigh quite a bit and also tend to load up the bike. Four years ago I replaced the top subframe bolts with grade 12.9, used blue loktite and torqued them to spec and have never had a problem. Personally, I don't think the lower bolts become a problem unless the upper ones are already loose or broken. This solution costs about $2.00.
