I would love to go watch the races, but I would soon tire of the leather and
lace wannabes on their Hardly-Ablesons. Bike week is biker week, might as
well be fu*king Sturgis redone

There is lot of weirdness if you go into downtown Daytona but it's easy to
avoid the worst of it. I usually stay about 50-100 miles out [the rooms are
cheaper], enjoy the good weather [there's 5 feet of snow at my place] and BS
with my Ironbutt friends. For us northern riders, Bike Week is the beginning
of the riding season.
PS I'm trailering my DR650 part way down.

The white side panels on my A1 ratbike are beatup and I'm on the
lookout for a set of replacements in good+ condition. Don't need the
decals, just prefer them unpainted.
1987, 88, and 89 should all be white. So root around in the garage
and pull out that last pair of white side panels, then contact me
off-list, if you please.
