I got to see these things up-close-and-personal at two Chevy dealerships recently. They are every bit as tasteless as the "Action Package" Celicas, only in a different way. It's the 21st century version of pinstripes, chrome wire wheels and cloth "landau" tops. RM

You forgot the all important 8" diameter tach mounted on the dash.

I can simplify this much more, and do so. If you will, imagine that EVERYONE on the road is a blithering idiot (doesn't take much imagination), pay careful attention to them ALL. This is including pedestrians and bicyclists, because even they (though slower moving) are potential idiots. "Swede"

I'm glad that you didn't use the race card here, because that would be very easy to do, especially if you drive a motorcycle in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sad but true! Rob's .02 A15 '83 GPZ '00 Indian Chief '93 Heritage Softail --- ATO137528@... wrote:

No offense to our neighbors to the south, but since there are so many illegal Mexicans driving around Atlanta, I pay 'special' attention to them. They don't have insurance!! And most cant read English. That's another reason I like the loud horn. It is a universal language.. I don't blame them for coming up here trying to make a better life, and it would be nice if everybody could read the street signs, and understand what they mean. But unfortunately, way too many drivers around here cant speak or read English, and have no insurance. If I get ran over again, I hope the jack azz has insurance, and hope the driver doesn't disappear across the boarder. It happens all the time here. MotorMark

Really makes you feel good. In my state (Texas) you can now take our driving test in a Spanish version even though the street signs are in English. Ahh the wisdom of politicians. They don't carry insurance here either. Go figure. Criswell Mark Wilson wrote:

Up here in Quebec you can take your drivers exam in Vietnamese amongst other languages. The main traffic threat here is guys in expensive euro cars. They seem to really like weaving through traffic with the ear to the cell. I've been commuting for ten years (summers) by bike and have developed a highly sensitive "spider" sense. When it tingles I listen. I don't even get pissed off when I'm cut off anymore, happens about twice a week typically. So far so good, knock on wood! Riley A15 Montreal ron criswell wrote:

When you can accurately predict people who cut you off and then don't get pissed off after it happens, then you know you have things under control. Nobody should have to suprise you, they're all out to get you. Conall- lanesharing for excitement now. _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com

Kurt Grife did the WR mod. For the edification of all, here is a repost of a table of ratios I posted some time ago.
