They might be $19.95 because they only have select sizes.

You drop a 400lb. bike on your leg, it doesn't matter what boots you're wearing. Stronger boot just transfers the impact up higher and then you hurt your knee instead. Did you break it? If not, the boots did their job. dat brooklyn bum> Brian >

trip with low fender and 16 tooth sprocket
Just got finished making a 600+ mile trip from Griffin, GA to
Greenville, MO. I got nice and cold of course. I made it in two
parts, with a stop in Bolviar, TN. I Didn't have any electrics, so I
had to break out the chemical packs when the temperature dropped
below 32 F last night and starting out this morning.
The low sport bike style front fender (thanks Zac) was a major
improvement at interstate speeds. I didn't get wobbly when doing a
speedometer indicated 80+ mph around the big rigs. This is well
worth the investment if you do a lot of high speed (for a KLR anyway)
interstate riding.
I also made this trip using a 16 tooth front sprocket. It was also a
nice improvement for interstate cruising. You end up losing some
torque at the top, but it is much more comfortable. 80 mph at about
5000 rpm.
