nklr...just bought a connie...

Post by Jim Cunningham » Tue Oct 10, 2000 5:53 pm

I had a Connie for several years before I bought the KLR and put about 40k miles on it. For sport touring it is an excellent bike and I never had a bit of trouble with it. But when I moved to Colorado and started touring in the mountains I kept seeing these roads that looked great to explore, but the Connie would have no part of them (it was never intended for roads like that) I finally decided that the KLR would be a much more versatile bike in mountain country; I have never looked back. Now if you can afford to have both, go for it (must be nice :)) -----Original Message----- From: Danodemotoman [mailto:klx650dan@...] Sent: Tuesday, October 10, 2000 16:44 PM To: MScherer@...
