enough to put out a little bit of current....so your headlight flashes but the lower draw of the tailight stays a bit longer, but give it another minute or so and it will go out too. battery and terminal connections....well, you won't need to as you'll come back and jump it right? That will tell for pretty much sure where the problem is.
