cleaning

Good! I get mine so dirty you could plant trees and hedges on it, yet I take it apart to clean it to show room condition and when not ridden it sits in my air-conditioned garage gleaming until the next ride. I do enjoy having a clean bike and I do enjoy mucking it up. What ever tickles one pink ! bigmotomama@... on 09/25/2000 09:39:52 AM To: DSN_klr650@egroups.com cc: (bcc: Pedro Valdes/MFG/CoulterUS) Subject: [DSN_klr650] Re: Cleaning Why would anyone want to wash a dual purpose bike? It's not a Harley. They whole reason I bought mine and got rid of my Harley was so that I wouldn't feel guilty riding a dirty bike! Not to mention the fact that dirt holds moisture, and thus can speed up the process of corrosion. But then, maybe riding on a paint-blistered, rust-bitten bike is worth the few minutes saved, or the image conveyed. Dreas
