[dsn_klr650] crap - got ticketed

Post by tebklr@aol.com » Wed Aug 30, 2000 6:13 pm

Glad to see you gone, Brian. Too bad your such a bitter man. Doesn't add much to the group. No, I'm not a cop, no I don't have cop friends, and no, I'm not a dickhead (although I'm sure you'll think so!). Cops are there to enforce the laws we all agree to live by. If you don't like the laws, work to change them! All the cops I've EVER run across were regular guys, just doing their (ofttimes thankless) jobs. They've rendered a lot more assistance to me than anything else. And the times I did get cited? Oh well, was stretchin' things, my fault, got caught, took like a man. Don't the crime if you can't do the time. All the best, Tom

Never met a cop who wasn't. What does anyone's wife and children have to do with it? Why do you bring up woman & children? Because you're a dickhead. Take the exception and shove it up your ass! This is America and if you don't like it, tough shit! So you say my statement went too far? Well what are you going to do about it? Are you threatening me? Cause if you are, please, come to papa. I will fill everyone in on what this pig tries to do to me for posting email because I can assure you he will try something. Go ahead! -Brian Shepard PHILADELPHIA PA A13 (unsubbing for good)

Glad to hear you are unsubbing Brian, as this Canadian dickhead (and cop) is removing you if you are still around.  Asta-la-vista...   Arne

frame protectors?

Post by Steve & Georgia » Sat Sep 09, 2000 12:45 am

Hi - I'm new to the list so I appologize if this has been discussed. I'm looking for frame protectors (for my '99 KLR650), similar to the ones they use on Motorcross bikes like a KX250. I'm trying to keep my boots from rubbing off the paint on the frame. Thanks! Kiwi (Steve)
