The KLR 600s have all the problems of the early KLR650's and then some. Suspension and rear shock setup is poor, ie. the smallish rear shock rubs against the airbox.

Check the parts fiche at the dealer and it should give the bearing sizes as well as the stock part number, otherwise take your old ones to the local bearing store and they can match them up. ( I think kawasaki's online store site buykawasaki.com ????? has the parts fiche online).

Elden: In the Dec. issue of DSN you indicated you shim the front axle to make sure they are parallel to prevent stiction. You developed a method of measuring the distance between the spedo drive box and the right fork leg. Can you go into more detail about this? Thanks, John _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html
