A little background . . . 14-months ago I had a severe car - NOT MOTORCYCLE - accident. Had to be cut out and removed via the rear window - I've been told, because the only thing I remember is regaining consciousness in the hospital. Anyhow I still have problems with balance & stability. Hence - NO RIDING. Looking at a 2003 KLR650 AND a PRISTINE 1977 T140V Triumph Bonneville {that I haven't even been able to SHOW OFF} sitting under covers in my back drive has driven me NUTS. Since they don't make 'training wheels' for motorcycles - I've been looking for a sidecar. Yes - I've checked DMC, plus a couple of places on the East Coast. 'They' all want almost the same & up to MORE than BOTH bikes cost me !! Way beyond my bank account. I discussed it, in depth with 'my' local 'Vintage British' bike guy. We decided on a 'Bullet' style from 'buysidecarsDOTcom'. Yes, manufactured in India, but looks quality and we could sell it, almost instantly - still crated - for the same price I paid. I was thinking of getting another 'set' of hook-up parts so I could 'swap' the car between the Bonnie and the KLR. But we'll see. Stay tuned . . .
